Today's update will be mostly pictorial, since all the zombie related happenings have made me markedly sleepy, but I really wanted to post a little zombie tidbit.
Another Zombie History Information Center opened on Tuesday and the first edition of greeting cards is ready to be distributed. I positioned a promotional pre-release card at the first information center, hoping that it would be found by Ms. Godiva, which evidently has come to pass.
At this, I'd like to blather a bit about the card production, because I spent a lot of time on it. Feel free to talk amongst yourselves, imagined readership.
I originally inten

ded to use some random zombie clip art for the cardfronts and I still may in the next set. But I complained about not being able to find anything I thought was suitable & naturally my mate challenged me to draw something for myself. I figured my ass would have to be pretty lazy indeed if I couldn't cobble together a semi-decent line drawing. The result was a scraggly looking zombie girl in her pajamas. It's a little hard to see, but she's licking her eyeball.
I wanted the card to have at least a hint of "maybe this wasn't made in 30 minutes on someone's laptop" so (lacking a decent image editor) I filled a few areas with paint and added some text. The entire card reads "Feel like a zombie in the morning? Maybe you're related to one. Happy Zombie History Month."
Is a half-dressed girl with exposed ribs too provocative?

Hard to say.
The cards will be in stores by Saturday and there should be a couple more information centers up by then as well. A library ready edition of The Lab Notes of Aloisia Ornt is in production as are some further zombie information etc.s.
