ACEOs aplenty

i've been doodling vigorously & for the first time in possibly all of time, i kind of like the results. i bought a couple of small canvases & will be attempting some further paint-muddled endeavors.

what i like most about making stuffed creatures & drawing tiny pictures is getting to imagine the world that surrounds the little artifact i'm creating. for me, nothing i make is static or unconnected, they're more like little pieces of my internal world that i've recreated in a form more accessible to others. so, Enid the Plesiosaur is actually just stopping off in my living room on her way to her next yeti-tracking adventure. & somewhere, there's a planet populated by robots & tentacled sea-beasts who await the yearly coming of the cupcake rain. at some point, i'd like to have a studio or a shop to display my work, so that i could assemble as many fragments of my inner realms in one place as possible. for now, i'm thinking i'll start with some little shadow boxes, so i can set up "snap shots" of that universe.
